A permanent account number or PAN Card is one of the essential documents for all the residents of India. The importance of it is numerous. You will need PAN card registration for income tax returns. Procedure of PAN Card Registration
Follow the below-mentioned steps for online PAN card registration.
Open the official NSDL site for PAN registration.
Now select the type of application. PAN for Indian or a foreigner, or you want to change the existing PAN card.
Select the category, individual, company or trust or body of the individual
Now fill all the required details, like name, email id, DOB, mobile number, etc.
After submitting the form, you will receive a message regarding further steps.
Click on the 'continue with PAN application form' to complete PAN card online registration.
A new page will open where you need to fill your E- KYC details.
In the next part of the form, fill all the necessary information.
Now give your area code, AO type, and the other details for PAN card registration online.
The last part is the form of submission and documentation.
Click on the proceed button.
You will be redirected to the payment section to make the payment through debit card/ credit card/ net banking or DD.
After making the payment, you will receive an acknowledgment slip of 16 digit numbers.
Take the printout of this acknowledgment slip
Enclose two passport-sized photos with it
Enclose all the required self-attested documents along with the demand draft and also the acknowledgment form
Post all the these to the NSDL office
Documents Required For PAN Card

· Photo identity card
· Ration card
· Pensioner card with an attached photo on it
· Driving license
· Arm's license
· Health scheme card
· Central government health scheme card or state government health scheme card
· Original bank certificate on the Letterhead from the branch itself
2. Address proof required documents for PAN card (any of the following)
● Electricity bill
● Water bill
● Landline telephone bill
● Gas connection card
● Credit card statement
● Bank statement
● Copy of post office book
● Voter ID
● Aadhar card
● Current property tax assessment order
● Employer's original certificate
3. Proof of DOB (any of this)
● Birth certificate
● Driving license
● Pension payment order
● Marriage certificate
